My other home

I had a chance to be at my old home again. My mistress and master got married and I was with Inger when they weren't at home. It was fun to play with my mum and meet my grandma and great grandma again. I got to sit on the sofa, I'm never allowed to do it at home.

Unfortunately I broke one of my teeth but I'm going to loose it soon anyway. I also have some trouble with my itching ears, my mistress has to clean them every now and then. I heard I would get some eardrops soon too.

Christmas

My people say it's Christmas now and they act very strange. On the other day I followed my master to the forest and he collected a tree to have in our living room!!! They put some lights on it and hang out balls there too. Today they put many presents under the tree and there was one for me too! I had to use my nose to find it which wasn't difficult at all. I opened my present all by myself and found a big bone with marrow in it - really delicious!

Today we've had a lot of people in our house and they have eaten a lot of good smelling food. I even got to taste some meatballs, christmas ham and smoked roe deer. Unfortunally I got so tired of all people I had to go to bed (my mistress is working tonight and I slept a couple of hours with her). I don't work at holidays so I wait for my master to come home from work; now that I have more energy I want to play with him.

I have lost four teeth and got two new ones, it seems like I won't need a denture after all :)

In the weekend I took a ride on a bus for the first time but I have to admit that I like sitting in a car much more. Buses are big and have high steps, it's unconfortable to go on a bus and I don't like to sit there either. In the beginning I just stood on the seat next to my mistress but I got tired and fell asleep at last.

Today I got a human puppy called Ellen, I like her. Her toys are much more interesting than mine and sometimes she throws food (and many other things) on the floor. She's much older than me but can't walk yet, I think it's very strange - we went for a walk today and she just sat in her buggy. And she may be older, but I am definitely heavier and bigger!

Getting old

I lost a tooth today. My mistress says I'll loose more and I just wonder how I can manage without having any teeth... Is there dog dentures one can buy?

I met my other mistress Inger this afternoon. She had been in Stockholm and bought a travelcage for me. I'll be using it on dog shows, the first one will be in January.

I visited my master's sister at her work too. She is a hairdresser and has always lots of hair in the corner, she says all the dogs who visit her like it. My mistress doesn't know why and neither do I, it's just fun to have some hair in my mouth and chew it.

It's snowing!

What a wonderful day! When I went out for the first time this morning, there was so much snow there. I ran and jumped and crawled in it, my mistress thought I'm nuts. I helped my master to shovel and he throw some snow over me. He thought I would leave him alone but he was so wrong.

Just a bit later, when I went to the mailbox with mistress, I helped a neighbour to shovel too. She just laughed and said I was gorgeous :)

Now I'm at work with my mistress again, just for the evening this time. Unfortunately there are no other dogs working today and I'm a bit bored. Tryed to escape but my mistress placed some obstacles in my way - I wonder if I can jump over those boxes... On the other day I jumped high enough to get on the couch at my work and landed on my mistress' lap, guess if she was surprised!

Life's good! My mistress ate Christmas smorgasbord with her colleagues and came back with a plate for me. There were meatballs, ham and small sausages on it. Yum-yum :) She said it was a reward for being alone at her office.

I have lost my energy and can't find it

I enjoy working with my mistress and begged her to take me with her last night, at last she did. My friends poodles are in Stockholm on a dog exhibition today so another girl, called Doris, worked last night. Last time I met her, she was in my size but now she's become smaller and fitted under me when I was standing up. Strange... Anyway, it was as much fun as the last time when we played with each other. We played all night long and rested every now and then.

I've been sleeping for 8 hours, haven't been outside or eaten. I was so tired when I came home I didn't even have energy to say hey to my master, I just fell asleep the second I laid down. My mistress said it looked like I was unconscious but I wasn't! I heard her and my master talk, I just couldn't open my eyes.

Now I wonder if I want to work again tonight or it's better to stay at home with my master. Luckily for me I don't need to decide it right now, the work begins at 21:15.

EDIT after the whole night at work: I was pretty sleepy until 2 o'clock, played a little with humans who were working and fell asleep again. It seems like I've been sleeping almost round the clock...

I've been working... again

Now I've worked the whole night for the first time. I helped my mistress to clean - she swept the floor and I carried some rubbish away, then she swept the floor again and I helped her with the rubbish again... Well... actually I only worked half of the night, the other half I was so tired I couldn't help sleeping. Today I was quite tired and didn't feel like working at all but my mistress didn't want to leave me home alone so I had to follow her anyway.

Last night I visited the nice veterinary surgeon again who gave me dogsweets and massaged my neck, just like the last time. My weight was 13,3 kg this time. I got my passport too and they put a sticker in it about some rabies vaccination. Strange... I still don't know what it is the humans call vaccination.

Last Saturday I was at school again and this time all my siblings were there. We got to play with each other after school and this time my mum came too :) It was quite muddy there and we became dirty so I had to take a shower at home.
